Welcome to mystash.ai. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our website and services.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you create an account, submit content, or communicate with us. This may include:

• Account credentials
• Content you submit or share through our service
• Chat messages, answers, and cited saved passages, so you can resume conversations across sessions
• Communication data when you contact us

We use the information we collect to:

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

To prepare summaries, organize articles, power semantic search, and answer questions, MyStash sends saved article text, images you share, search queries, and selected conversation context to its AI service provider, OpenAI. Personal notes are stored with your account and are not included in these model requests. Saving and browsing do not require an AI response. To recover an article that cannot be read, we may send its title, public URL or a short visible article excerpt to search and extraction providers, including Firecrawl and Jina. Images identified as personal documents are not used for article discovery. If processing fails, the card leaves your stash and a private notification retains the original link or image until you delete it or your account.

We may also share your information in the following situations:

• With your consent
• To comply with legal obligations
• To protect our rights and the rights of others
• In connection with a business transfer or acquisition

5. Data Security

The optional publisher reader opens a separate browser profile on your device for your MyStash account. Publisher passwords and session cookies are not uploaded to MyStash. Choosing Finish saving authorizes automatic capture of the matching article once readable; only its title, URL and article text enter your stash and normal AI processing. Publisher sessions remain on the device on supported versions and are cleared when you sign out of MyStash. Older iOS versions use a temporary session.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized or unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction, or damage.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. You may also have the right to object to or restrict certain types of processing of your data.

You can delete a saved conversation using its trash button. Deleting your account also deletes your saved conversations.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
